Marqueece Harris-Dawson is the executive director of Community Coalition, a grassroots organization working to build a powerful voice in South Los Angeles to create, influence and change public policy.

Track 4: Russlyn Ali

Russlynn Ali is the founding director of the Education Trust-West, the West Coast partner of the national policy organization Education Trust, which works for high academic achievement of all students at all levels, with an emphasis on serving Latino, African-American, Native American and low-income students. A lawyer, Ali is a member of the Governor's Advisory Committee on Education Excellence. The goal is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to successfully complete California’s college-readiness curriculum.

Track 5: Becky Danisch

Becky Danisch has 20 years of experience teaching high school in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and has been a leader in developing career education curricula and training faculty to link success in school to future success in college and the workplace. Throughout her career, she has worked tirelessly to build supportive relationships with her students and their parents.
